“The greatest mistake a person can make is doing nothing”
John C. Maxwell
Sometimes when faced with great difficulties, fierce opposition and terrible challenges, giving up seems to be the best choice. And that could be a sound decision. To me, giving up really is an option in life because if you have been doing something for so long and have been failing, you may be just being stubborn not to give up. Giving up is sometimes a necessary step to start the process of renewal. For example, you really have to give up the job you hate to start on a new career or give up a horrible relationship to have the chance to meet the right person.
What worries me sometimes is not quitting or giving up. Rather is the notion that giving up is a failure.
Really, there is no shame is giving all you have and exhausting all you could and can do and after that fail. Because it is always in our failure that we learn to the most. The greatest failure however would be for the person to not do anything after the failure. To conclude that nothing good will ever happen after the experience of failure. That to me is giving up.
I urge you, should you experience failure to have the courage to try anew, to begin a fresh and to have faith that the outcome will somehow be good for you. Only if you try and keep trying.
Life is always full of surprises and so long that we never never give up on our hope; we shall always be able to learn and grow regardless of our life circumstances. So never, never, never give up.
